Abdullah R. Chowdhury
Social Innovator. Anthropologist. Policy Advocate.
An explorer, amateur photographer and storyteller of Indigenous knowledge, ecological imagination and human-nature partnership in resilience

Social Innovation & Projects
I design and lead initiatives that merge storytelling, education, and policy to support community resilience and Indigenous leadership. From launching empathy-based learning labs to co-creating cross-border anti-trafficking strategies, my work focuses on ethical, locally grounded solutions to complex social and environmental challenges.
Ethnography Research
I explore how Indigenous knowledge systems shape biodiversity conservation through story, ritual, and relationship. My work bridges ethnography, ecology, and policy to highlight how traditional ways of knowing offer vital insights for global environmental futures
A visual archive of memory, migration, and ecological intimacy — my photography captures moments where culture, land, and resilience converge. From the sacred groves of Meghalaya to the edges of displacement in Cox’s Bazar, these images tell stories that words alone cannot hold.
